Península Valdés is a wildlife reservoir unique in the world because it offers the possibility of seeing a large number of animals in their native habitat.

This field was discovered in February 2000 when a researchers and paleontologists group of the Buenos Aires University recovered fossils in Mapuche land, under the direction of Dr. Jorge Calvo.
