You can see in the field the standing fossil trees in the exactly same place where they were fossilized for over more than 90 million years ago.
The Forest collects a group of huge fossil trunks dating from over 65 million years ago. It’s made up with multicolored clay soil, volcanic ash and stocky xerophile vegetation.
It was mainly created because it is a representative sample in a good condition of patagonic coastal biodiversity and preserves fields with paleontological value.
