Los Toldos y Cuevas de las Manos

The inferior valley of Chubut River is a fertile area located in the northeast of the province of Chubut and it´s crossed by the homonymous river. Bahía Bustamante/ Bustamante Bay is the only algae town in the world.

You can see in the field the standing fossil trees in the exactly same place where they were fossilized for over more than 90 million years ago.

The glacier shows an amazing and curious phenomenon in which it´s huge ice mass advances continuously causing the accumulation, breaking and consequent detachment of the immense 5km ice blocks.
