The Forest collects a group of huge fossil trunks dating from over 65 million years ago. It’s made up with multicolored clay soil, volcanic ash and stocky xerophile vegetation.
Dino Project is a scientific investigation group of the National University of Comahue. Not only was a giant dinosaur found, but also the remains of an almost complete ecosystem dating from the Mesozoic era.
The most picturesque sections are the ravines of the Telkem and Feo streams and the Ecker and Pinturas Rivers. They are 128km away from Perito Moreno and have yellow, green and red elevations due to the rocks and soil that have in minerals in their composition.
