




The Calafate, which is popularly called «Calafate», is a city located in the southern shore of the Lago Argentino, in the region of Patagonia.
The glacier shows an amazing and curious phenomenon in which it´s huge ice mass advances continuously causing the accumulation, breaking and consequent detachment of the immense 5km ice blocks.
The Forest collects a group of huge fossil trunks dating from over 65 million years ago. It’s made up with multicolored clay soil, volcanic ash and stocky xerophile vegetation.
